Bluefish in Glenview is one of the best sushi restaurants in the entire Chicago land area, in my opinion. The service, and the beauty of the restaurant blew me away when I first arrived. This wasn't my first time eating at this excellent restaurant but it seizes to impress me every time I attend. The booth I sat at made the food and my dining experience above par due to the fact of how comfortable it was. It was very enjoyable. The Philadelphia roll was for sure in my top 5 best of all time. The fact that salmon instead of being wrapped inside of seaweed and rice was on top of the rice and cream cheese made it that much better. The bigger proportion of the fresh smoked salmon made the roll one of a kind. The freshness of roll as whole was a privilege to have. You could taste and smell the fact that this roll was made to perfection, every part of it was great. Along with the Philly roll, I had the Smoky Bear which was consisted of Seared smoked Salmon over Shrimp tempura with cream cheese. It is kind of like a Philly roll just with Shrimp tempura which was a fantastic touch. I loved it. I also had the Crunchy Muffy. This roll was Shrimp tempura, tempura crunch, cream cheese, topped with baked mozzarella cheese with sweet soy. It is one of my all time favorite rolls. The cream cheese and the baked mozzarella cheese on top is just mouth watering, and the freshness of the shrimp with the tempura flakes makes truly great. Finally, my last roll was the California Sunset. This consisted of Tuna, Crab, avocado, and was deep fried topped with spicy mayo and eel sauce. This roll was fantastic . The fact that it was deep fried was amazing and added a great texture. It was truly incredible. One of the best rolls I have ever had. My experience at Bluefish was great and I recommend to go and try their sushi as soon as possible.
